剧情简介
上世纪五十年代，国营企业职工王国胜春风满面骑着自行车搭载妻子上班，妻子姓刘名素珍生得秀外慧中，夫妻两人恩爱甜蜜来到工厂上班，许多同事无不羡慕王国胜取到了一个娇妻。刘素珍其实是因为跟前男友周宏伟分手才嫁给王国胜，罗美兰横插一杆与周宏伟恋爱，罗美兰怀上了周宏伟的孩子，刘素珍无法接受打击只得跟王国胜结婚，从此以后周宏伟与罗美兰成了刘素珍的仇人。不久之后，罗美兰居住的宿舍发生火灾，周宏伟奋不顾身冲进房间里面救出罗美兰，刘素珍事后与王国胜谈起火灾原因，外界有人造谣猜测是刘素珍放的火，王国胜非常相信刘素珍不会做出伤天害理的事情，思前想后想出电线短路引发火灾的理由应付了事。
